José Christian Chávez Garza was born on August 7, 1983 in Reynosa, Tamaulipas, Mexico. He is a Mexican singer and actor. He is best known as a member of the pop group RBD and for his role as Giovanni Mendez Lopez in Rebelde as a money crazy teen that comes from a new rich family.

From this novela came the band RBD. Although he gained fame with Rebelde, he has appeared in the also very famous telenovela Clase 406 as the role of Fercho along with his co-stars Dulce Maria, Anahi
