Julieta goes to study at the university and years later returns to her hometown to work there as a doctor. Gabriel who also has gone to protect Julieta came back to continuing protecting her. To his return Gabriel not only faces Genaro's repudiation, he also faces Pedro's hatred because he does not like to see him close to his childhood friend.

Julieta and Pedro's innocent friendship become a profound and passionate love. But Nadia (Monika Sanchez) Gerardo's niece comes between them because she wants to marry Pedro.
