Esther (Rocio Banquells), Luis Alberto's cousin has decided to married Luis Alberto. She doesn't love him, but instead wants his money, and will do the impossible to get what she wants.

Little by little, Luis Alberto begins to fall in love with Mariana and to win her love decides to leave behind his old way of life. Mariana's love has changed the womanizer and irresponsible man into a responsible man who wishes to have a beautiful life with her and make his father proud.
