Diego learned acrobatics and fencing skills in Barcelona. Remembering the injustices he saw as a child, he returns to his family’s hacienda in California. There he lives a double life as a nobleman and as a vigilante, fighting against imperialism.
As many telenovelas, the drama focuses on romantic melodrama and family intrigue. The widow Esmeralda Sanchez de Moncada (Marlene Favela) arrives to California together with her sister Mariangel (Andrea Lopez) and her father the villainous Fernando Sanchez de la Vega (Arturo Peniche) the new governor of Los Angeles.
